Job Description
- Lead the learning and development strategy for Qantas Cabin Crew UK
- Facilitate world class training programs regionally as a subject matter expert
- Permanent, full-time job opportunity, based in Hammersmith and Heathrow
The Learning Manager Cabin Crew UK is a key role responsible for driving the regional learning strategy for Cabin Crew and implementation of world class customer service development programs and training. As a conduit between Australia and the UK, this role will primarily provide expert input on aligning onshore content for a regional audience. The role will also be responsible for updating and overseeing the implementation of new processes and projects for international learning and development, in the UK. Additionally, this role indirectly manages a team of SME Facilitators, providing regular consultation, advice and coaching. As well as observing all aspects of training delivery, delivering train the trainer sessions, conducting training assessments and actively driving best practice approaches to training delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the customisation, development and delivery of Cabin Crew training programs
- Ensure Cabin Crew training programs deliver competent and skilled crew to the operation
- Manage the development and delivery of innovative learning materials for UKEMEA region
- Drive continuous improvement to achieve integration of operational and service training programs
- Drive strategy and development of stakeholders to support training requirements
- Develop and monitor clear performance objectives and deliver timely coaching and feedback
- Manage project initiatives to ensure Cabin Crew capability outcomes align to strategic objectives
You'll have:
- Relevant L&D experience in an operational environment
- Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills and knowledge of adult learning principles
- Experienced in business partnering, consulting and influencing at a strategic level
- Sound analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills that are customer service focused
- Exceptional leadership and people management capability
- Project management and process improvement experience and expertise
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to deal with ambiguity, complexity and confidential information
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with all levels of an organisation
- High degree of computer literacy and experience using MS Office 365
