Learning Manager (Temporary Position - 1 year)

Grade 7 SCP 15-17

We are an 11-16 academy based in the large, north-east town of Middlesbrough.

As a Learning Manager you must have the ability to work with students and have a real interest in the issues faced by the students. You will monitor and support all students in the year group, both academically and behaviourally. You will work closely with the Inclusion Co-coordinator and the Leadership Team on improving student behaviour, attendance and outcomes. Day to day, you will work with students to help them to be the best they can be.

The successful candidate must be extremely well organised, have the ability to prioritise work and ensure that strict deadlines are met. The ability to work on your own initiative and be able to lead by example are essential. You will be required to deal with students, parents and outside agencies in a professional, prompt and confidential manner.

The hours of this position are 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, working 7.5 hours per day Monday to Thursday and 7 hours on a Friday, term time only plus 15 days. This post is for one year.
