Islington has some of the richest social history in all of London. We're looking for a Learning and Engagement Manager to help us and our residents bring this history to life. Whatever your niche historical interest may be, we've probably got it covered: Lenin, LGBTQ+, cattle markets, human rights campaigners, New Rivers, ancient wells, prisons, performers, pantomime heroes. We're looking for a creative, confident and experienced museum learning professional to lead on developing and implementing the next stage of our learning strategy for Islington Heritage Service. You will possess a post-graduate qualification in a relevant subject and have comprehensive knowledge of working in a heritage environment. You will also have a creative and pro-active approach to using our collections and heritage to enrich residents' lives, building community wellbeing, creating a shared inclusive local identity, and promoting lifelong learning for all. You will be a team player and be confident in building relationships with colleagues, external partners and community representatives.
