Job Description

To support the delivery of excellent learning & leadership development (L&D), working in collaboration with Anglo American, in support of our De Beers strategy. Support the design of a cutting-edge L&D strategy that drive our success and deliver these through practical yet effective channels across our colleague disciplines. Support with crafting the processes to equip the workforce with future-focused skills. Nurture early careers and foster continuous learning. Champion ED&I by integrating it into every L&D initiative, creating a truly inclusive environment.

Your Responsibilities

Strategic Learning & Development: Working with the Senior Manager, Learning and Leadership Development, support the development and implementation of a business-driven learning strategy aligned with DBG's strategic objectives.

Skills Gap Analysis and Development: Support with the identification of current and future skill needs. Design and deliver targeted learning interventions to address identified skill gaps. Assist with the development of a strategic approach (buy/build strategy) for critical skills acquisition.

Leadership Development: Work closely with the Senior Manager, Learning and Leadership Development, to curate and deliver tailored leadership programs. Develop strategy to evaluate the impact and ROI of leadership development initiatives, and ensure the right leaders are developed according to business needs.

Talent Pipeline & Development: Contribute to the delivery of an early career talent pipeline and development program.

Learning Ecosystem Collaboration: Partner with educational institutions and training providers and internally with Anglo American to create learning and career progression opportunities.

Learning Culture and Delivery: Foster a learning organization culture, design and implement learning interventions, equipping the workforce with necessary skills for career progression.

Career Development & Learning Journeys: Partner with the Senior Manager, Learning and Leadership Development to equip the workforce with the skills and experiences needed for personal growth and career advancement through refreshed learning journeys and career pathways, driving retention and internal mobility.

Learning Process Innovation: Be a catalyst for the use of technology to simplify and improve learning processes, enabling leaders to actively develop their teams.

Learning curriculum: Craft and deliver engaging and impactful learning curriculum.

Qualifications

Your skills and knowledge

What you've done before:

  • Demonstrated experience of successful design and delivery of leadership development programs in a complex, multi-site organisation.
  • Thorough knowledge of best practice in Learning & Development practices.
  • Exposure to effectively manage commercial partnerships and relationships with third party suppliers.

Technical and soft skills you'll have or be working towards:

  • Applied technical expertise in the design and delivery of solutions, and measurement of results in the L&D space.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct skills gap analysis and evaluate learning program effectiveness.
  • Facilitation and presentation skills where required.
  • Inquisitive and proactive of current innovation in HR and L&D in other industries and companies, with an ability to articulate how changes within and outside the business will inform the capability, technology and organization required today and into the future.
  • Excellent Project Management skills.
