Leadership & Talent Development Partner

Our purpose as the Talent Development team at Together is to embed an inclusive learning culture for every colleague to allow them to reach their potential. We are looking for someone to fill the important role of Talent Development Partner to support that through working closely with HR and department leaders to identify skill gaps and support colleague growth.

Investing in our people is a key strategic pillar for Together. With the full support of our Exec Team, you will support your business areas by identifying exceptional talent and help develop those colleagues through talent programmes and projects.

Key Responsibilities

As our Talent Development Partner, you would;

  • Working with the HoD, form Together's Leadership framework; including the skills, knowledge, values and behaviours to be an effective leader across different levels.
  • Help leaders and leadership teams builds the skills, behaviours and mindset needed to lead effectively in the business.
  • Design an effective leadership programme, and stay updated on leadership trends
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, especially in your allocated business areas;
  • Responsible for developing and then working alongside the People Partners to assess and identify talent within your business areas
  • Act as a point of contact to the business areas you are allocated to advise on learning interventions and talent and succession plans;
  • Help shape the Talent Development Strategy to continually add value to our business, colleagues and strategic objectives;
  • Ensure that you are able to monitor, analyse and measure your work with metrics that demonstrate value-add
  • Lead or support with talent programmes and projects;
  • As a team member use your experience to provide continuous improvement and creativity to our work
  • Collaborate with the Talent Development and the wider People team to ensure that there is alignment in our approach and commitments to our stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Experience of effective leadership frameworks and programmes
  • Collaborative personality with excellent people skills, a team-player
  • Experience in diagnosing learning needs and proposing effective solutions
  • Experience in working well in a team and driving consistency in best practices
  • Ability to be able demonstrate success with metrics
  • Agile and resilient to change, working at pace
  • CIPD Level 5 preferred, but not essential
