As a Lead Technical Program Manager in the Corporate Technology, Chief Data and Analytics Office Team, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. You will have the responsibility and accountability to play a crucial role in facilitating the interaction between the clients (internal or external stakeholders) and the technical team that manage the data lakehouse. Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring that clients have a positive experience with the data lakehouse, from initial onboarding through ongoing use, and that their needs are met effectively. This role is critical in driving client satisfaction and maximizing the value derived from the data lakehouse.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
- Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks, implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum, while also resolving ongoing challenges within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
- Act as the primary liaison between the clients and the technical team, ensuring clear and effective communication regarding the data onboarding process, requirements, and expectations.
- Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification as a technical program manager concepts and advances applied experience.
- Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients
- Ensure that the data lakehouse's capabilities and offerings align with the strategic goals of the clients and the organization, facilitating discussions on how the data can be used to drive business value.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients to help them understand how to access and utilize the data within the lakehouse, ensuring they can leverage the data effectively for their purposes.
- Advanced experience in utilizing technical fluency, including knowledge of vendor products and managing vendor relations, to enable on-demand access to shared pools of applications and services
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge or experience of Data Lake platforms
- Exposure to Jira / Jira Align
