Job Description

As the Lead Technical Program Manager within an AI/ML product team, you will work with the Product and Tech leads to drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the world's largest bank.

You will help strengthen our culture of agility, innovation, quality, and professionalism and own and track delivery plans. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals.

You will communicate effectively with various levels of business and technology stakeholders including senior executives and foster productive working relationships and better decision-making.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource estimates, and timelines to ensure smooth delivery of technology solutions
  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project momentum
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
  • Assess project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
  • Experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients
  • Proven track record of effectively tracking resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience managing complex, early-stage and failure-prone research/AI/ML projects
  • Awareness of the financial services industry
  • Awareness of corporate functions e.g. risk, finance, compliance, legal, audit
