Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in program or project management.
- 7 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Experience with designing and operationalizing regulatory compliance programs for new and emerging regulations.
- Experience managing cross-functional programs with multiple executive stakeholders.
- Experience with projects or programs involving regulatory and reputational risk.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in driving the development of best practices, including the development of policies, processes, and training.
- Experience working on compliance programs and audits, particularly audits involving technical code reviews, application security testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, analytical, and investigative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to be action-oriented and seek to meet the highest standards of integrity.
- Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.

As a Program Manager you'll join a Global team addressing the emerging risks pertaining to how the team manages, supports, and responds to audits required by various regulatory bodies. You will work with Regulatory Affairs leads as well as Google and Alphabet's Legal, Compliance, Investigation, Communications, and Engineering teams to manage programs and projects that help identify, plan for, solve, and help the company adapt to risks.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, manage, and facilitate a portfolio of regulatory programs, manage design of compliance programs via cross-functional collaboration with product and legal stakeholders.
- Understand regulations to advice on the design of compliance strategy, conduct current state assessments, analyze capabilities for goal state solution, and develop compliance artifacts.
- Lead a portfolio of regulatory audits conducted by third-party external auditors or regulators including technical audits involving Application Security Testing, Code reviews, Information Security controls reviews.
- Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company regarding the status of new and emerging regulations.
- Ensure program management aspects are built and maintained for the portfolio of regulatory obligations.
