What you'll do

It's an exciting time to be leading the Devices and SaaS Product Team as the new Product Team Lead, with a focus on setting the strategy for our Devices and SaaS Product Portfolio. You'll be considering market opportunities and trends, new technologies and customer insights to develop innovative products and help bring our propositions to life. Working with the wider Mobility & SaaS Product and Propositions team, you'll be building out the compelling stories around Vodafone and Mobility, also ensuring alignment across other product portfolios.

  • Lead the Devices and SaaS Product Team - a team of 4-5 Product Managers - and ensure their development to deliver best in class products.
  • Set the strategy for the Devices and SaaS team, backed up by market analysis, sales, and customer insights and working in close alignment with the wider Mobility team.
  • Formulate and agree a roadmap of product development, with clear Business Cases, to implement the agreed strategy.
  • Ensure communication flows with internal stakeholders are consistent and refreshed on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure products deliver excellent internal and external customer experience.
  • Continuous management of existing products, including managing the addition of new features.
  • Drive the uptake of products and manage against performance targets, ensuring achievement of Product specific revenue and margin budgets.
  • Maintain regular engagement with operational stakeholders to optimise product performance.
  • Lead product specific engagements with key partners and vendors, in conjunction with SCM and Partner teams.
  • Regular updates to management stakeholders on product performance.
  • Ongoing engagement with finance and commercial teams to track financial performance and business case ROI.
  • Sales and Customer engagements to promote products, answer enquiries and gain feedback.
  • Marketing and Propositions interlock to ensure alignment to strategic direction.

Who you are

  • Previous demonstrable experience of leading teams within a large Tech, IT or Telco environment.
  • Product Management experience with the proven ability to manage an entire product life cycle from concept to launch for B2B/ Enterprise.
  • Proven propositions experience to support the launch of product portfolios.
  • Commercially minded with proven ability of building a business case and creating a P&L.
  • Credible communication skills across all levels, both written and spoken, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a complex matrix structure, with experience of engaging directly with customers, and customer facing teams.
  • An excellent problem solver and ability to make clear decisions quickly, showcasing a good business acumen and ability to translate complex technical solutions into enablement for Account Managers and Sales Specialists.
