Lead Process Excellence Analyst (Fixed Term)

Job Title: Lead Process Excellence Analyst (9-month FTC)

Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Up to £44,000 dependent on experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the delivery of process improvement projects to optimise operational effectiveness and enhance business outcomes
  • Undertaking and leveraging data analysis for the identification of opportunities
  • Leveraging best practice and application of BPMN toolsets to ensure structured documentation and governance
  • Supporting the Head of Process Excellence in identifying project stakeholders and define project scope
  • Planning and leading workshops with stakeholders at all levels for requirements and business process capture and documentation
  • Quantifying results and trends for inclusion in stakeholder reporting, and benefits tracking

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience of BPMN (Business Process Modelling and Notation)
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Experience providing simultaneous support to a number of delivery projects
  • Proven track record in working directly with, and managing wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience working in project teams delivering defined outputs

Desirable:

  • Proficiency using SAP Signavio Business Process Transformation Suite

The Process Excellence team:

You will be joining a team focused on advancing Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement across the organisation. You will collaborate with a team of eight experts and analysts, reporting directly to the Head of Process Excellence.

Your role will centre on effective portfolio management, engaging with multiple streams where your expertise will drive the delivery of impactful process improvement projects aimed at optimising operational effectiveness.

Regular interactions with Senior Leaders and key stakeholders will enhance your visibility and influence within the organisation, offering you invaluable exposure across various business areas. While there are no line management responsibilities, you will work closely with peers, providing ample opportunity for career development within BAE Systems.
