You will join our Energy Division - O&M department

As our new UK Lead Operations & Maintenance Engineer within the Energy division you will be part of a growing team with highly experienced members. We conduct projects for energy companies' brownfield and greenfield, and support our Energy Division market within Offshore Energy, Gas Distribution, Power to X, Bio Energy and Power Generation. As a Lead Engineer in the O&M department your most important role is to lead a multidisciplinary O&M team conducting projects of high quality and through this become a trusted partner to our clients.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Lead Engineer for O&M projects
  • Lead the technical team to reach the objectives
  • Be the single point of contact for the client during execution
  • Drive the business development, sales and tender processes

Additional tasks will be;

  • Use your knowledge and network to identify project opportunities
  • Development of operation and maintenance strategies
  • Maintain cooperation with global O&M team

For the candidate with the right leadership skills there is a potential for further career advancement. You would then become responsible for developing the O&M department in the UK. This responsibility will involve developing employees and take part in management tasks and strategic tasks set out in the department's strategy plan.

  • B.Sc/ M.Sc./BEng/MEng in Chemical Engineering
  • Min. 10+ years of experience in the field of O&M Engineering from Energy Industry
  • Awareness of maintenance planning and task execution processes
  • Strong multidiscipline system knowledge with an understanding of mechanical, E/I, inspection, and process safety requirements on projects. An ability to engage and develop solutions in collaboration with these disciplines.
  • Experience in supporting HAZOPs, LOPAs and other design review processes
  • Competence working with a full range of process engineering and operational documentation e.g. P&IDs, line lists, Single line Diagrams and design calculations
  • Awareness of industry relevant standards
  • Good English both verbal and written
  • Ability to build an extensive and diverse network within an international organisation.

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: excellent communications skills as well as great interpersonal skills. You are service minded and client centric. Furthermore, you enjoy working independently as well as in teams. You already know the industry very well and find it easy to build a wide and effective business network and you have a sense for a sales opportunity
