Lead Mentor - Fixed-Term Secondment until 31st March 2026

We have received grant funding from the Department for Education to provide bespoke and intensive Mentoring, Advocacy and Support to children in our care and care leavers.

If you have experience of working with children and young people supporting them with engaging in their community and providing a safe point of reference for them we want to hear from you.

This role will be joining a small and established team working in Royal Greenwich's Virtual School. Our work is to support the existing networks around each child in our care whilst promoting a sense of belonging and identity.

We know how important positive life experiences are for young people so much of this role is to get out and about with young people taking part in and encouraging safe play and confidence building.

We also form a key part of the network around each child ensuring quality advocacy for each child is ever present.

We are looking for a wide range of skills and experiences- play/youth worker, social workers, education staff, sports coaches, those with experience of mentoring, youth justice workers etc.
