Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, data-driven and sales focussed individual to enhance our sales enablement process. Working with existing internal resources to find and develop new business leads within our existing networks, nurturing externally sourced leads to take them to the opportunity stage and ensuring the feedback loop is completed, this role will help deliver qualified leads to our investment managers to help us increase and diversify our client base.

Key Responsibilities

To grow our business in line with the firm's strategic goals, this role will initially focus on four key pillars to generate new leads:

  1. Existing clients: working with investment managers, analyse client books and cross-reference with external sources where applicable.
  2. Inbound leads: nurture and manage all incoming leads generated via the marketing effort and third party sources.
  3. Charities: generate a comprehensive picture of the charities space in the UK for our target audience and cross-referencing known clients and trustees
  4. Professional intermediaries: identify the target audience, filling in relationship gaps and introducing relevant firms/ people to investment managers.

To achieve our goals across these four areas, you will:

  • Triage analysis and research activities to identify decision makers within the possible client organisations / individuals using multiple sources from publicly available news / social media / companies house etc.
  • Create and manage a prospect pipeline in a CRM environment to ensure a sufficient level of sales opportunities
  • Analyse identified leads to nurture and develop the information, such as building an org chart of their organisation, such that it might help lead to conversion to a client
  • Create opportunities from current book of leads / events platform / corporate partnerships by helping Investment Managers understand the opportunities that may existing within their existing networks.
  • Ensure there is a comprehensive feedback loop to help us understand why business is lost.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • A data driven and analytical approach
  • The ability to find sources of new business and to nurture leads developed by other areas of the business
  • A consultative sales approach
  • Strong understanding of sales acumen i.e. what information is needed to increase the change of success
  • Lead generation expertise
  • Experience in building, maintaining, and managing a sales pipeline
  • Excited by being part of the new business process / growth engine
  • Analytical and results driven
  • Degree level and/or professional industry qualification
  • Previous Microsoft Dynamics experience advantageous
