Job Description
What You'll Do
- Act as the subject matter expert for store equipment, taking full accountability for performance, availability, and operational effectiveness.
- Own the planning, prioritisation, and delivery of equipment-related activity that supports safe and efficient trading.
- Provide operational support to stores and regions, identifying root causes of equipment issues through data, trend analysis, and process mapping.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Contract Managers, and suppliers to drive value, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain and improve equipment standards, ensuring compliance with all legal, safety, and regulatory requirements while communicating clearly to stores.
Who You Will Be
- Highly knowledgeable in store operations, with a strong understanding of how equipment supports day-to-day trading.
- Analytically strong, with experience using insight to identify root-cause issues and deliver sustainable fixes.
- Skilled in supplier or third-party management, with the ability to drive performance and value.
- A confident communicator who can simplify complex operational messages and influence effectively across functions.
- Digitally capable, highly organised, and detail-driven, able to prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment.
