Job Description

We're now looking for a Lead Commercial Manager to join our Commercial Team.

The Restoration and Renewal Delivery Authority has a portfolio of contracts, including both standard government forms and NEC4 contracts. Managing these contracts requires a strong procedural approach to support collaboration, discipline and control, recognising that the Delivery Authority must comply with statutory requirements along with relevant government policies to deliver value for money. This role will provide the full range of pre-contract and post-contract commercial management, as well as support to the procurement team.

You will lead on the commercial management of all contracts for the Delivery Authority, leading a small team of Contract Managers and Commercial Officers, influencing and challenging budget holders ensuring business plans are informed by robust estimates, market intelligence and provide best value to the business.

With a degree (or equivalent experience) in Quantity Surveying, Business or Law you will have a proven track record in contract administration of professional services, construction and corporate support contracts. You will have the ability to produce accurate reports, analysing and reporting together with identifying contractual and programme risks.

As well as leading a highly motivated team, you will be responsible for the corporate insurance strategy for the Delivery Authority.

Salary circa £90,000 per annum, we will consider part time.

Restoring Parliament is already boosting UK industries, and the restoration will use UK materials wherever possible and create jobs and apprenticeships across the country, from engineering and high-tech design to traditional crafts such as carpentry and stonemasonry.
