Role Introduction
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Bid Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading the bid process for public
sector opportunities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compelling proposals that meet client
requirements and win new business.
The Lead Bid Specialist will have responsibility for designing best practice and strategy for public
sector and strategic bids including Social Value. They will also be responsible for supporting
continuous improvement to the operational bid processes to drive best in class approach.
What You Will Do
- Bid Management: Lead and oversee bid execution, planning and governance around
activities and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and win
strategies for the public sector
• Strategy Development: Develop and implement bid strategies that align with company
goals and maximize win rates for Public Sector and Frameworks
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and technical teams to gather necessary
information and ensure proposals are accurate and compelling.
• Compliance: Ensure all bids comply with client requirements and public sector
regulations.
• Content Creation: Write, edit, and review proposal content, tailoring it to the specific
needs and priorities of each client.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including clients, partners,
and internal teams, to gather insights and feedback. Partner with functional leadership
from across OneAdvanced to support delivery of best in class bid management for public
sector and social value
• Continuous Improvement: Analyse bid outcomes and feedback to continuously
improve the bid process and proposal quality
What You Will Have
- Experience: Significant experience in bid management within the SaaS industry and
public sector.
• Skills: Strong project management, writing, and communication skills. Ability to manage
multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of public sector procurement processes and
regulations.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. APMP
certification is a plus.
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a
team
