Job Description

Role overview

Helping to define, organise and share the best of what Ipsos knows - empowering our people and our clients to make better decisions.

  • The Ipsos Knowledge Centre is charged with transforming how our colleagues and clients access Ipsos' expertise - and it is entering an exciting new phase in its development, as Generative AI tools reshape our approach to Knowledge Management
  • The foundation stones of this work are our partnership with the Global Learning team, our programme of thought leadership, and the tools and channels we are developing to deliver this content to its audiences
  • We are looking for a talented and energetic individual to help us expand our initiatives, and provide new impetus
  • You will be joining a small team, based in London, Paris, Sydney, Canada, and India. But our focus is global, working with our teams and clients all around the world

We need you to help us make our ideas and ambitions a concrete reality, and to bring some of your own. Your administrative and organisational skills will be critical in knitting the team's work together, and you will have an important part to play in making our new initiatives sustainable.

Ipsos UK offers a hybrid working environment, 3 days in the office and working the rest from home.

What will I be doing?

We have three connected purposes - and you will have a key role in each:

Defining the Knowledge: The "Ipsos Encyclopedia"

  • Manage the transformation of our Ipsos Encyclopedia as it converges with the Ipsos Training Centre
  • Own the process for creating, updating, and reviewing content in this joint resource
  • Deploy creative and design skills to make the content as usable and appealing as possible
  • Maintain our ISO9001 certification by ensuring our processes are not just followed, but improved where necessary
  • Lead on projects to develop new tranches of content
  • Supporting the Knowledge Centre's broader content programme and ensuring the Encyclopedia's programme is joined up with it

Organising the Knowledge: making it discoverable

  • Create new ways to package and distribute content, tailored to the specific needs of the intended audience, and using different formats (including video and audio)
  • Ensure that the metadata is properly managed and conforms to best practice
  • Support and supervise our team in India as they continuously refresh our stock of knowledge
  • Monitor and report on metrics and KPIs
  • Deliver good user experience, and carry out research to discover how it might be improved

Sharing the Knowledge: helping colleagues and clients to engage

  • Moderate and manage conversations in our internal social collaboration spaces
  • Find imaginative ways to activate and animate our internal teams and communities
  • Explore applications of Ipsos Facto, our in-house Generative AI tool, to improve our processes and sharpen our content
  • Select from our existing suite of tools to promote and market our content internally and externally
  • Run a helpdesk to support the users of our various services.

What do I need to bring with me?

  • Experience in Knowledge Management
  • Strong administrative and organisational qualities, and a real attention to detail
  • Adaptable and flexible: comfortable working in a small team within a diverse and diffuse organisation
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, ideally SharePoint Online, would be advantageous but not essential
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • A basic working knowledge of statistics would be helpful
  • An interest and willingness to pick up new tools quickly, particularly Generative AI
