Atlas Hotels is hiring a Kitchen Manager right now at the Holiday Inn Express - Edinburgh Airport

So, what does a Kitchen Manager do?
Employee:
- Lead and organise the shift, ensuring Team Members are in the right place at the right time, to enable a great experience to our guests
- Supervise, guide and motivate Team Members on the job
- Understand and role model the Atlas Values and associated behaviours
- Nurture a learning culture, coaching and developing others to success
- Communicate effectively, ensuring that Team Members are aware of information that will affect their shift as well as Atlas updates and priorities
- Undertake effective job check ins with Team Members
- Support the HOM in ensuring that all new employees receive a warm 'Atlas welcome' and thorough induction
- Understand HR procedures and raise conduct and other such concerns to the HOM
Guest:
- Supervise the kitchen in the preparation and presentation of all food items in accordance with the hotel's food and beverage standards and standardised menu guidelines.
- Monitor standards of production to ensure quality.
- Supervise all aspects of kitchen cleanliness and co-ordinate the effective utilisation of all kitchen team members using effective staffing levels, ensuring all kitchen areas are maintained in a hygienic condition at all times and ensuring adherence to hotel standards.
- Role model a great guest experience at all times and wherever this is required
- Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and Company standards in both public and private areas, taking pride in the hotel and its employee team.
- Display a pro-active and consistent approach to stock control and cost control.
- Lead communication and up skilling to Team Members regarding the products and services the hotel has to offer, guest satisfaction scores and hotel areas of focus
- Maintain compliance standards
- Positively represent the Atlas brand
