An amazing opportunity for the position of Kitchen Manager at The Isle of Ely, situated in the cathedral city of Ely. We are looking for the right person who can serve up great food, by putting our customers at the heart of everything you do. You'll create a great place to work by being proud of the work you do, confident to win and working hard with your team to get things done. Most importantly, you'll have lots of fun along the way. Bring to life kitchen excellence in your site by driving the passion for food in your business and encouraging knowledge and pride throughout the whole team.
Prepare and deliver excellent standards of food quality at all times, paying particular attention to brand specifications to make sure all dishes are cooked and delivered right first time.
You'll role model our values, showing how we genuinely care about our customers, how we confidently strive to be the best at what we do, and are committed to working hard for each other. You'll inspire confidence and belief in your people and will build an exceptional team who understand how we help each other to do well.

Job Description

As a Kitchen Manager, you will...

• Take the reins in the kitchen, whether you are making decisions or coming up with fresh ways to help the team run better together.

• Communicate clearly with your team in order to provide high-quality meals to customers on time.
• Recognise and lead the team as a whole, understanding how to maximise their potential.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help to guarantee the care of your entire team and visitors.

What you'll bring to the kitchen:

• Experience managing a busy kitchen, training and developing a high performing team who constantly exceed targets

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and getting the best of your team around you.
• A keen eye for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers each and every time
• Skill and willingness to take on and adapt to challenges whilst working in a busy kitchen.
