Our largest accounts invest significantly across a range of activities, looking to drive impact and ROI across their CSR, early careers hiring, internal and external communications and employee engagement ambitions.

The Opportunity

The Programme Delivery Team is looking for a Key Account Project Manager-Someone results-driven with excellent stakeholder management skills to drive the success of our key accounts.

This role requires a balance of project management, client partnership building and commercial acumen. You will lead the internal teams to deliver on large-scale, multi-product campaigns, coordinating resources to meet or exceed target and taking an active role yourself. You will be the key account holder for our high-value or priority clients, responsible for protecting these ongoing revenue streams through hitting targets, securing staged or performance-related payments, building relationships and executing renewals.

Key responsibilities:

This role has a balanced blend of responsibilities between programme management & delivery and commercial responsibility. In driving successful delivery to target you will ensure client satisfaction, ensure positive impact for our beneficiaries and protect critical revenue streams for the organisation.

Project Management

  • Own the overall project management of large-scale campaigns: setting project plan and milestones, ongoing status reporting, and holding all stakeholders (internal and external) to account and mitigating project risks.
  • You will have matrix management authority over the internal resources on your projects, including colleagues who will support with school outreach.
  • Be accountable for developing and delivering plans to improve client experience and satisfaction, communicating risks and progress to leadership.
  • Own the 'why' of a campaign: keep the strategic goals of your clients in mind and drive or adapt the project approach to meet or exceed these ambitions.
  • Run weekly meetings with your clients, coordinate call agenda and updates and own the log of notes and actions.
  • Manage the budget for your projects, assessing burndown, ensuring ROI from internal resources, identify and mitigate any scope creep or resource clashes and make the case for extra resource as necessary.

Programme Delivery

  • In addition to core project management tasks, you will deliver on client facing activity on your accounts that will provide opportunities to drive ROI and build your relationship and profile with your client.
  • Common tasks include: Social Impact Report & awards writing; setting the strategy for volunteer engagement.
  • Ensure that all work sent to the client is of high quality, and manage brand adherence, tone, voice and complete content tweaks in line with client voice.
  • Generate guidance and tips for the wider team based on your good practice.

Client Success

  • Manage Quarterly Business Reviews for your clients.
  • Develop and showcase your market expertise: be visible in the sector, joining forums, events, panels, and generating blogs, LinkedIn presence. Bring this market insight back to improve our product offering and execution.
  • Build a strong relationship with your clients, including time spent on-site.

Commercial Success

  • Own the commercials on your account: be accountable for staged payments and own the renewal for opportunities that are not multi-year (the latter with support from Commercial colleagues)
  • Meet a target for number of referrals identified within your accounts, and support commercial colleagues to close cross-sells generated i.e. generating solutions, supporting pitches.
