Join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our customer relationships while driving sales growth across the EMEA region. We are seeking a motivated Key Account Manager to manage relationships and sales projects with Key End User accounts and consultants. This critical role focuses on growing total sales, increasing share of wallet within named accounts, and driving new direct end-user sales.

The Department and Team

You will be part of the EMEA Sales team, working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment across the region. You'll collaborate closely with sales representatives, engineers, community managers, and channel managers, and report directly to the Regional Sales and EMEA Key Account Manager. Together, you'll work towards achieving the objectives of the EMEA region, ensuring sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Key Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Target and Develop New Sales: Drive new business opportunities by developing direct end-user relationships.
  • Cultivate Relationships: Build and manage connections with the A&E Consultant community, driving engagement with key influencers and networks.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert: Deepen your expertise in video management and integrated solutions, guiding end users and consultants in the territory.
  • Account Management: Oversee the needs and future developments of specific named accounts, ensuring smooth coordination with sales teams.
  • Project Coordination: Communicate project specifics with sales teams to ensure seamless handoffs and sales success.
  • Promote Technology Solutions: Collaborate with Milestone Technology Partners to champion best-in-class open solutions to customers and consultants.

Tasks

  • Meet quarterly with account leadership to provide updates and review progress.
  • Support security specifiers by traveling to job sites, offices, association meetings, security conferences, and local/national trade shows to strengthen relationships with security consultants.
  • Manage and monitor the project pipeline for assigned accounts.
  • Hold monthly alignment meetings with the local sales team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Engage with national and regional leaders within key accounts to maintain strong relationships.
  • Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities through direct end-user and A&E contact.
  • Build relationships with new A&E firms.
  • Leverage the CRM to grow, maintain, and develop all aspects of end users, the A&E community, and project development.

The ideal candidate brings the following experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience selling into National Accounts.
  • Extensive network within the A&E community.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the commercial security industry.
  • Proven track record of supporting multiple large national customers.
  • Experience exceeding sales targets and managing large accounts.
  • Willingness to travel over 50%.
  • Experience with Salesforce (or other CRM platforms).
