They are vital to equipment manufacturers and end-users in the complex fabrication of semiconductors and thin film coatings for optics, flat panel displays, solar cells and industrial vacuum coating applications. Other users of our vacuum-based processes include the life sciences, research, aerospace, packaging, heat treatment, laser cutting and many other industrial processes. We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety.

This position is 100% home-based- residence within the United Kingdom is required.

Job Description

  • Support of strategic customers and system integrators in above market segments
  • Acquisition of new customers in the above segment
  • Technical support and solution recommendation in the field of AI and gas leak detection
  • Active account management and development of Strategic accounts in the relevant territories
  • Coordination with the EMEA Sales Team on Strategic accounts
  • Support of various marketing activities including trade shows, strategic industry committees, and marketing campaigns
  • Account management activity, forecasting and recordkeeping on INFICON CRM
  • Collaboration and execution of Sales Strategies as well as monitoring customer needs in the field
  • Ability to demonstrate all company products to a wide variety of potential customers
  • Geographical coverage: Whole UK and Ireland

Qualifications

  • Completed technical studies (e.g. Engineer, Chemist etc.) or a comparable technical apprenticeship
  • Minimum of three years accomplished sales experience in similar environment
  • Knowledge in Vacuum Technology and Analytical Instrumentation is of advantage
  • Autonomy and flexibility. Ability to work from home and be a self-starter
  • Customer-oriented thinking and acting
  • Willing to travel throughout UK, Ireland and occasionally in Europe
