Organisation: Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO)

Work Location: Barnsdale Way, Grove Park, Enderby, Leicester, LE19 1ES

Salary: Grade 10 £33,060- £36,660 per annum

Working Hours: 37 Monday - Friday

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing sales across a number of key geographical areas for ESPO. The customer base will include schools and academy trusts, as well as other public sector customers such as local authorities and charities. In addition to developing existing accounts you will also help to grow our business by targeting suitable new accounts.

You will help to prepare annual sales forecasts and annual/monthly coverage plans for your areas, and report to the senior sales and marketing team against the agreed targets, forecasts and plans. Using a CRM system, you will also help to maintain accurate customer contact information and you will also provide market feedback and intelligence for your areas, and help to ensure that our customers receive a truly excellent customer experience.

Please note you are required to have a driving licence for this role.

About You:

Ideally you will have:

  • Formal sales coaching qualification/courses.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven experience in a medium to large company, preferably in the education sector
  • Proven sales relationship and/or account management experience
  • Reporting to budget forecasts and sales targets
  • Excellent presentation skills to deliver to customer and specialist groups
  • Strong interpersonal skills
