About the Role: The Junior Supply Chain Manager will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day logistics operations, with a focus on inventory management, warehouse coordination, and issue resolution. This role will support senior leadership in ensuring smooth, timely deliveries and help to maintain strong relationships with logistics suppliers and carriers.
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Logistics & Warehouse Coordination:
- Oversee the coordination of inbound logistics, ensuring timely delivery of goods from suppliers.
- Assist in preparing customs documentation and managing the clearance process for inbound shipments.
- Collaborate with 3PL warehouses to monitor inbound deliveries and address discrepancies.
Inventory & System Management:
- Troubleshoot and resolve inventory-related system issues across multiple platforms.
- Assist with the management of stock synchronisation between warehouses and various systems.
- Handle carrier issues, working closely with parcel carriers and freight forwarders to resolve any delivery delays.
Outbound Logistics & Customer Support:
- Support the setup and management of outbound carriers to ensure service delivery standards are met.
- Coordinate urgent, same-day outbound shipments, ensuring on-time deliveries.
- Provide operational support to the customer service team with delivery-related escalations.
- Manage shipping and delivery lead times, ensuring customer satisfaction during the checkout process.
Process & Supplier Support:
- Assist with invoice validation and supplier onboarding.
- Provide operational support in implementing process improvements and working with external partners on packaging and logistics solutions.
Vendor Coordination:
- Assist in coordinating day-to-day logistics operations with 3PL partners and external vendors.
- Provide support in planning requirements for warehouse and customer service teams.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, including warehouse management and inventory control.
- Problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Strong communication skills, both internally with teams and externally with suppliers.
- Familiarity with logistics management systems (WMS - PVX advantageous) and shipping platforms.
