Junior Relationship Manager

This new role, is based in London, is part of the London based Sales and Relationship team and reports into the Head of Sales & Relationship UK, Nordics & Benelux. The focus is on new Sales, Client Management and Business Development of our Core Services (clearing, settlement and custody) into international markets. As part of a small team, you need to develop a close collaboration between sales persons, product and operational specialists to drive new revenues and cultivate client relationships.

This Junior Sales Manager role is work alongside the senior member of the London based team across our core post trade services/products. This team member will manage a number of client relationships who take our core products/services and support new sales generation and cross sell activities. The business development activities operates in a team environment with other Sales and Relationship Managers of BSS, and is required to support other business units of SIX Group.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for managing a number of client relationships and support new sales and cross sell activities
  • Manage overall client profitability.
  • Responsible for the overall management of service delivery into your assigned client base, working closely with Product Management, Client Services and Securities Operations
  • Responsible for the on-boarding of new clients, including KYC (initial and on-going), and liaison with product management, operations and project management where required.
  • Responds to and resolves queries involving operational staff, client service, legal and compliance, working with the relevant internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Product Management, Securities Operations).

What you will bring:

  • Work in a team environment to build and extend strategic relations on respective levels with Banks, Broker/Dealers and other Client Segments as appropriate, across all products but with a focus on our CCP clearing services.
  • Actively plan, manage and develop global account plans in collaboration with the existing clients and in the future originate new accounts
  • Work with leadership to review or create target lists to drive profitable growth and support the targeting teams
  • Become a role model with regard to building a sales culture in the Securities Services business unit.
  • Anticipate and retrieve client needs and requirements, understand them and direct them to the relevant business unit of SIX.
