Are you a recent graduate looking to build a career in commercial property? We're seeking a driven and ambitious Junior Property Asset Manager to join our Property team and gain hands-on experience across a large and diverse nationwide retail estate.

This is a unique opportunity to gain broad property experience in a fast-paced commercial environment. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, take on genuine responsibility from day one, and build the skills and knowledge needed to develop a successful career.

This structured 18-month rotational programme has been designed to give you end-to-end exposure to the acquisition, management and disposal of property assets. You'll spend nine months in our Acquisitions & Disposals Team and nine months in our Assets & Estates Team, developing the commercial, technical and stakeholder management skills needed for a successful career in property.

Full training and support will be provided, including MRICS qualification support where required.

You will be responsible for

Acquisitions & Disposals Team (9 Months)

You will gain experience in the acquisition and disposal of property assets, with responsibilities including:

  • Site sourcing and identifying new property opportunities
  • Undertaking viability appraisals and market analysis
  • Negotiating with landowners, developers, agents and legal advisers
  • Preparing internal approval packs and financial summaries
  • Managing transactions through to exchange and completion

Assets & Estates Team (9 Months)

You will support the management and optimisation of our property portfolio, including:

  • Assisting with rent reviews, lease renewals and lease regears
  • Managing lease compliance, including health and safety obligations and dilapidations
  • Supporting asset management initiatives to enhance income and reduce costs
  • Building relationships with landlords, managing agents and professional advisers
  • Supporting projects focused on sustainability, compliance and estate optimisation

You will need

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Real Estate, Property Planning, Property Management or a related discipline
  • Strong commercial awareness and numerical ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, organised and enthusiastic approach
  • A genuine interest in retail property and large, mixed-use estates
  • The ability to build effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders
