Why is this position a great opportunity?

You will be responsible for helping us research, plan and build products across the Microsoft stack (Modern Work, Business Apps incl Dynamics and Power Apps). You will also help us manage the lifecycles of our existing IP products and ensure they meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

You will work with the CTO, Head of Innovation and CIO to understand the vision and roadmap for the products, based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research, and your own industry insight.

You will work closely with developers, designers, testers and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that solve real-world problems. You will also communicate with internal and external users to gather feedback, identify pain points and validate solutions.

What skills and working characteristics should this person have?

    • Some product management or project management experience
    • Basic understanding of cloud technologies, particularly the Microsoft stack
    • Familiarity with Agile Project Management software, ideally Azure DevOps, for managing requirements backlogs.
    • A willingness to learn and understand a business, its ambitions, and its pain points and to translate this into a solution.

As a Junior Product Manager, you'll be responsible for:

    • Supporting the product strategy and roadmap
    • Assist with managing products throughout their lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
    • Collate feedback from sales, customers and other stakeholders.
    • Write Product Requirements and Market Requirements documents.
    • Work with internal stakeholders and third parties to assess and establish partnerships.
    • Help develop core messaging for the products.
    • Work with the Innovation Lab team to ensure delivery of agreed objectives.
    • Help to build out pricing models.
    • Monitor, report and improve product performance.
    • Help devise and deliver go to market launch plans
    • Conduct market and competitor research.
    • Help promote the products to teams through training sessions, webinars, newsletters, and other mechanisms.
    • Help represent the voice of the customer in meetings.
    • Help to evangelise the product suite internally and externally.

£30,000 - £35,000 a year
