Junior Business Manager - ETRC Change Global Markets COO

Your role

We're looking for someone like that who can:
• Partner with senior 1st and 2nd Line Stakeholders, both locally and globally, to lead the design and implementation of Change initiatives in the UBS global Electronic Trading (ET) flows globally ensuring our electronic trading business across Global Markets operates at a standard which meets internal business, auditors and regulators' requirements
• Partner with team members and other COO teams, both locally and globally, to manage daily COO and Global Markets business activities leading the implementation of complex projects and transformation initiatives including business driven changes, and regulatory, audit and risk remediation activities
• Lead the evolution of out ET Governance framework through simplification and innovation through in-depth understanding of the governance framework and the business (e.g. products, ET governance processes, regulatory demand etc.) managing and leading ET Change initiatives in Global Markets, in all regions
• Partner with other key IB COO team members, locally and globally, to design and deliver crucial change initiatives to Global Markets
• Interact with the IB COO teams to maintain an effective control environment for the Investment Banking, Global Markets and ET businesses
• Identify, evaluate and identify risks, adhering to regulatory and operational risk standards, and propose solutions and changes that will mitigate those risks
• Collaborate with Trading functions, other business management teams and support functions such as Technology, Compliance, Model Risk Management, Credit Risk Management and Market Risk Management to ensure a robust risk & control environment in Global Markets (Global and Americas)

Your team
You will be leading Change initiatives in collaboration with other Front Office, Technology and Global Markets COO teams. As part of the wider IB COO team you will be responsible for providing business run oversight activities (run the business) as well as analysis, project management and delivery capabilities to the control environment within the Global Markets Global businesses, across the Investment Bank.
Your expertise
Required
• Strong analysis, project management skills and experience of running multiple initiatives and / or sub-streams of work (of various levels of complexity) with limited supervision
• Excellent innovative and data analytics skills
• Strong communication (verbal and written), presentation and interpersonal skills in order to liaise with members of the organization at all levels, including Senior stakeholders in 1st and 2nd line
• Strong leadership, focus, drive and commitment and track project delivery record in getting jobs done on time and to a high standard
• Ability to identify and design and lead the implementation of suitable remediations solutions to risk and controls issues and processes considering business and COO priorities based on business risk levels and expected benefits
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and to adapt to a quickly changing environment and deal with ambiguity
• At least 2-3 years of experience of working in Finance
Preferred
• Prior experience in IT, Project Management function, Innovation, Business Analysis or project delivery function within an Investment Bank (Cash Equities, ETD or FRC aligned product or business areas)
• Experience of working in a Technology / Innovation / Digital / Electronic Trading business environment
• Strong knowledge of electronic trading regulatory landscape will be a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Algorithm model governance management practices in UBS will be a plus
