Junior Brand & Production Manager

This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.

MATTA is an independent, forward-thinking, digital-first creative agency for sport. Our campaigns have won multiple awards, and we have been Agency of the Year several times over.

We build digital and social strategies, design and position brands, hatch big ideas, create advertising campaigns, produce content, and we have a design, video, and edit studio in-house. We're based in London, but the majority of the work we do is global. Our clients are iconic rightsholders, clubs and brands, including ATP Tour, ICC, The FA, R&A, PWR, England Rugby, Chelsea Women, Tottenham Hotspur, EA7, Clinique, to name a few.

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Brand & Production Manager to work across multiple and varied projects, collaborating with our clients, and generally supporting our Brand and Production teams in turning campaign ideas into reality. This person will particularly support one of our key clients - a major governing body in the world of rugby - project managing the efficient, detailed production of high volume design assets through our studio.

Your key responsibilities:

Resource and Project Management: Work with our Production and Brand teams in ensuring tasks are assigned within the studio in line with project milestones.

Internal Collaboration: Work closely with our internal teams, including designers, creatives, producers and brand managers, to facilitate the smooth planning and execution of project milestones, through to successful project delivery.

Working with Clients: Support our Brand Managers in developing outstanding marketing strategies for exciting brands in the world of sport, and manage interactions with MATTA clients.

External Collaboration - Liaise with clients, freelancers and 3rd parties (eg sound and photography studios) in the coordination of our projects.

Production Support: This is varied, and will include researching and licensing of music and archive footage, assisting with the planning of shoots, collating creative feedback from creative review sessions, and carrying out quality control on the assets that we produce, and much more.

Project Foresight & Risk Management: Identify potential risks to projects and communicate these to the wider agency.

Champion project management best practice: Ensure that we are using the best tools and processes to optimise both our efficiency and the quality of our work.

  • At least a year's prior experience of working within a creative environment - ideally either a creative agency, or a production house, and experience of working directly with both creatives and clients.
  • You enjoy finding solutions to problems, and have the confidence to make informed decisions in order to keep projects on track.
  • The ability to adapt to changing project requirements, manage competing priorities, and navigate project complexities.
  • A real flair for organisation, multi-tasking and project planning.
  • Fluent written and spoken communication skills
  • Creative judgement and the confidence to speak your mind
  • Logical thinking, and the ability to understand the causes and consequences of situations, and to anticipate necessary actions
  • Technical confidence: the ability to quickly pick up new software and platforms, and experience with using an Apple Mac (ie Pages, Keynote), GSuite and cloud sharing products such as Dropbox
  • An exceptional eye for detail and meticulously high-quality standards
  • Confident communication and relationship building skills
  • A team player through and through
  • A great work ethic and a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Self-driven, with the ability to thrive while working in a fast paced, high energy environment with daily deadlines
  • Additionally, although not essential, if you have a demonstrable love of sport and sport marketing this would put you higher up the list.
