Junior Account Manager (Graduates considered)

At ITG, we're looking for a proactive Junior Account Manager to support the Premier Inn production team. This role will focus on managing print briefs, stock coordination, and ensuring smooth project management for one of our key hospitality accounts. You'll work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and the client to maintain operational excellence while delivering first-class customer service.

We're seeking someone with strong administrative and project management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with the client for day-to-day queries, always ensuring excellent service.
  • Validate and process client-supplied briefs, ensuring accuracy and feasibility before execution.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to critical paths and timelines.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of stock reports, handling key stock management tasks on a regular basis with a keen eye for accuracy, proactively identifying challenges and exploring solutions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to manage print requests, RFQs, and production schedules.
  • Attend and actively participate in client and internal project meetings, providing status updates and actionable next steps.
  • Conduct quality control checks, including press passes and pack checks, to maintain high standards.
  • Support with administrative tasks such as WIP management, month-end reporting, and maintaining internal systems.

Requirements

  • Communication is key - Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Strong organisational abilities and a meticulous approach to detail, particularly in stock management and data integrity.
  • Positive mindset and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing longer term projects as well as tactical BAU tasks.
  • Experience in managing print projects or working within a print production environment.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of excel - a core part of the role is stock management which is largely excel based. You will have access to Excel subject matter experts, but we need someone who is competent and has a good understanding of the core functionality.
  • Strong written, oral and proofing skills.
  • Keen eye for detail as this role is as much about accuracy and quality, as speed.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A team player with a solution-focused mindset who is eager to learn and grow.
  • Full UK driving licence.

We are also happy to consider Graduates for this role who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills and have an interest in the Print Production industry.
