(Junior) Account Manager

The Account Manager manages partnerships with existing brands and seeks new opportunities with potential brands that fit Adtraction's portfolio. Their focus is on creating long-term relationships and helping brands increase sales. The Account Manager typically oversees several mid-sized to large accounts and is responsible for increasing managed gross profit.

Serving as the main contact for brands, the Account Manager delivers excellent customer service, builds trust, and identifies opportunities for growth while strengthening partnerships and upselling Adtraction's ideas and products. Collaboration is key to this role. The Account Manager works closely with other teams (e.g., Partner Team, Support Team, Marketing Team) to ensure that brands working with Adtraction feel confident in the value they receive and know they can always expect more from their partnership with Adtraction.

Daily tasks & job duties

  • Active partnership management: build relationships with existing brands and media agencies to build long-term partnerships
  • Sales growth: Manage, analyse, evaluate and optimise partner programs while upselling and cross-selling Adtraction's products and services
  • New business development: Identify and sign potential new brands that align with Adtraction's portfolio
  • Customer service: serve as the primary point of contact for brands
  • Data analysis & reporting: monitor brands' performance and use data to identify opportunities for growth and to present actionable insights to brands.

Other responsibilities

  • Brands additional activities: prepare activity plans or other seasonal e-commerce initiatives for brands (e.g. Black Week, Christmas shopping).
  • Market research: stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for brands.
  • Brand feedback: gather feedback from brands and provide insights to internal teams for product or platform improvements, ensuring that Adtraction continuously evolves to meet brand needs.
  • Problem resolution: proactively identify and address any issues brands may face, ensuring they are resolved quickly to maintain strong relationships and minimise disruption to campaigns.
  • Partner marketing advocate: educate brands about emerging trends in e-commerce and partner marketing, helping them adopt new strategies that can improve their performance.

Professional Skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Experience in sales or customer advice, with a keen interest in digital marketing.
  • Ability to build long lasting relationships with partners and brands
