Job Description

Main Responsibilities

  • To handle OE Sales operation in Ford Europe Sales Department.
  • Manage powertrain products: quote and negotiate design changes, manage phase out and service requirements, perform sales analysis, create long term sales plan for manufacturing.
  • Promotion of new technology such as fuel cell and hydrogen products.

Specific Responsibilities

Personnel: No direct supervisory responsibilities but able to work on own initiative and with others.

Resources: Efficient use of available resources to progress work successfully.

Planning: Make ASP/RSP, LTP and G&Os for the responsible area of businesses to effectively achieve targeted goals and delivery regular reports.

Decisions: Create and implement adequate strategy for business acquisition, pricing, delivery, debtor control and phase out of the responsible businesses.

Supervision

Reporting to an Account Manager.

Contacts

Daily contact either face to face or online, email and phone with Ford Europe and relevant internal Business Units, affiliates and plants.

Working Conditions

Home based; 1 day per week based at Epping working in a rental office with other UK side team members with access to internal/external network system (Share point, FoE supplier portal etc); 1 day per month working at Coventry; regular visit to Ford in Dunton.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Business or equivalent.
