Job Architecture & Reward Senior Consultant

Company Description

We require an experienced Job Architecture & Reward consultant to support pre-merger integration planning related to the proposed merger between Three UK & Vodafone UK, which is subject to regulatory and shareholder approval.

The role is offered on a fixed term contract basis with an anticipated start date of May 2024 and an initial expected duration of 9-12 months. The role will be part of the clean team and will operate under strict anti-trust and confidential arrangements.

Pre-merger integration is limited to planning only and no decisions will be made or implemented until the merger completes, subject to regulatory and shareholder approval.

Job Description

Work with the Job Architecture & Reward project team to:

  • Develop the Job Architecture & Reward pre-merger integration plan and approach.
  • Develop the proposed Total Reward Strategy and principles for MergeCo.
  • Recommend the target Job Architecture & Reward structures, aligned to agreed principles and strategy so that decisions can be made quickly post completion if the deal is approved.
  • Develop the post-completion integration roadmap.
  • Ensure any data shared by Three complies with the anti-trust protocols and confidentiality arrangements in place.
  • Support internal stakeholder management and engagement within Three so that the required stakeholders are informed and consulted at the relevant points along the journey.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Reward role managing key reward processes including job evaluation, benchmarking, pay review, benefit management, pensions etc.
  • Prior experience of planning large-scale changes to job grading and reward, ideally including integration and harmonisation in an M&A context.
  • Previous experience managing external reward partners and holding others to account.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to lead projects from inception to embedding.
  • Understands emerging Reward and workforce trends and uses this to inform insights and make credible recommendations based on various data sources.

At Three we have a hybrid working arrangement in place as standard for office based employees, where employees work from a mix of office based location and working from their home in the UK to carry on their role.

Excluding retail, core hours at Three are between 10:00 and 16:00, with operating hours between 08:00 & 18:30. This allows employees to have a start time between 08:00 and 10:00 and finish time between 16:00 and 18:30.
