Assistant Project Manager

We have a new opportunity for someone who has previous experience in lettings to join Business Projects team as an Assistant Project Manager. This role is home based role.

Your role will be to support and manage multiple business initiatives and projects under the guidance of the Projects Director.

Previous project management experience would be useful, but is not critical. A willingness to learn is essential and good experience/knowledge of the Lettings business would be helpful.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Management; managing and implementing business initiatives, change projects, to support business strategy, within demanding deadlines
  • Business Processes; analysis of existing processes, create and support delivery of new business processes, to enhance efficiency and improve productivity
  • Management; play an active role in supporting management of the business
  • Change; support and drive implementation of change within the business, working with the Projects Team to achieve strategic objectives as set by the business

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree (or equivalent) qualified preferable
  • Experience of operating within a fast paced medium to large established organisation
  • Confidence in organising, resilience in managing
  • Excellent administrative and analytical skills, relevant IT ability (data manipulation desirable)
  • Work to a high level of detail, often within tight timeframes
  • Demonstrable experience of engaging and influencing business managers
  • Ability to handle and prioritise short and long term objectives and goals
  • Strong delivery/service orientation
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written
  • High level of commercial awareness
