Here at Responsiv we are seeking a Project manager with experience of managing multiple projects to a fixed budget and a track record of on-time delivery of complex IT solutions. As Project Manager you will be comfortable writing proposals, presenting and negotiating at all levels of a business, including C-level executives, developers, infrastructure specialists, and line of business staff.

Key responsibilities:
Project Portfolio-
• Manage multiple project teams including internal, third-party, and customer resources.
• Control & manage resources across multiple projects
• Ensure project portfolio Is planned & communicated efficiently
• Manage capacity across the portfolio
• Defining team skills requirements and assuring availability
• Work closely with account manager on client projects to Identify new possible opportunities
• Create client account delivery view of projects and potential projects
Project Management:
Project Planning-
• Able to do effective planning from scope documents, creating workstreams and milestones, and able to articulate deliverables and what project success is.
• Draft and maintain clear project plans and budgets.
• Effectively size and plan project delivery, creating clear and detailed Gantt charts
• Starting of each project, Identify clear risks and dependencies and evaluate and mitigate where needed
Delivery:
• Ensure teamwork Is clearly Issued via work orders according to plan
• Maintain and manage project plan with up-to-date Gantt charts and budget
• Do regular stakeholder reporting and track action in progress
• Manage risk and issues to ensure project timeline and business case are non-Impacted
• Ensure strong working relationships across your stakeholders, internal Responsiv, Client and third parties
• Represent Responsiv to the client and champion our company and values.
• Be the face of Responsiv to the client and ensure clients are delighted by our ability to deliver and exceed their expectations, based on your ability to manage the project
• Provide strong leadership to the project team
• Ensure effective resource planning and feedback to resource managers
Project Control:
• Create and maintain a clear stakeholder map and ensure all stakeholders are managed and involved
• Manage conflict and provide strong and proactive leadership to the delivery team
• Create and maintain a detailed RAID log and effectively manage all risks, issues and actions.
• Ensure comprehensive project, quality, and risk plans are prepared and proactively managed
• Maintain track and ensure projects are managed within budget
Skills and Experience:
You are expected to have significant experience in all aspects of the role, and to be adaptable to new challenges, maintain currency in techniques and approaches, and to work well with both business and technical communities.
Essential Skills:
• Experience of Agile and Waterfall technologies
• PRINCE2/PMI or similar project management certification
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Financial forecasting and budget management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Gantt charting tools
• Good knowledge of resource and service management tools and techniques
• Experience in effective team coaching and managing high performance teams
• Bid responses and C level negotiations.
Desirable skills:
• Experience working with IBM software in a large enterprise setting.
• Technical or Analytical background
• MS Project
This Is a customer facing role, so there will require travel when needed, otherwise you'll be based out of our Bracknell office.
