Role purpose:
In joining the Technology Team as an IT Lead working on the Vodafone divestments and other related projects, you will develop an understanding of the Partners' organisation, forge trusted effective relationships with key senior stakeholders and have responsibility to provide advice and consultancy on all related IT matters relating to the corporate separation.
Vodafone Group has recently agreed the sale of Vodafone Hungary and Vodafone Spain. As part of the transaction, Vodafone will continue to support them with a number of Transitional Service

Key responsibilities include;
• Be the single point of contact for all IT related matters with the divesting OpCo, interacting with technology leadership team, participate in key meetings to develop their strategy for target architect and operating model, understand their challenges and help them to navigate the complexities of separation.
• Proactively lead meetings with the divesting OpCo and the Vodafone Group Service Owners to develop migration plans and ensure smooth delivery, managing inflight technical issues.
• Drive incremental revenue for Vodafone by identifying opportunities and advocating where Vodafone could continue to provide products and services to the partner.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Work closely with the New OpCo partner technology leadership team to influence their strategic and operational plans
• Oversee the teams from both New OpCo partner and Vodafone on all IT related migrations in-line with the provisions in the TSA's and LTA's.
• To align with the overall migration workstream, communicate plans to service owners to assess potential impact and identify close down processes required on termination of the service
• Lead the IT migration review meetings, capturing and ensuring all actions are completed where there is a requirement against an existing service provision
• Ensure and completion and provision of all existing and future service reporting from LOB to the new service owners
• Play a lead role in the overall Divestment Programme team to promptly process IT related Change Requests, Terminations and other changes request/required.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in Group IT across a multitude of IT related areas.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Proven track record in a senior telecommunications technology solutions role preferably within Vodafone Group
• A strong internal network with substantial experience of managing and developing business transformation in Vodafone OpCos and/or Group, 5+ years of telco experience.
• Outstanding understanding of the inter-dependencies of IT/technology within the telco environment, strategic planning for short- and longer-term transformations, demonstrate a clear understanding associated with new technology deployments and challenges of legacy systems.
• Ability to influence director and CxO level staff in group and 1:1 situations, ability to clearly articulate reasoning behind technology-based recommendations or decisions.
• Ability to work collaboratively across function and influence colleagues without line control to access their support.
• Experience of working internationally with different markets in different stages of maturity with people with different cultural backgrounds
• Be able to analyse and articulate complex information in a simple and effective way with strong problem-solving skills.
• Spanish speaking would be advantageous.
