About the role
Our Digital Team are looking for a dynamic IT Project Coordinator to join the Digital Core Programme.
The Project Coordinator role is an important position within Boots IT, responsible for the mobilisation and management of small projects within a large investment portfolio. This is a great opportunity to work at the heart of the business, delivering technology critical to Boots' performance. You will work collaboratively with Digital Project Managers and the wider Boots business teams in an interesting and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinating some or all aspects of small/medium size projects to ensure delivery of customer and business objectives
- Bring together project team members from across the business and third-party organisations to help build and deliver the project plan
- Work with project managers to help deliver the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning, implementation, and evaluation of the projects
- Follow project management frameworks and standards within the team, including good financial governance
- Troubleshoot, problem-solving and escalating issues
What you'll need to have
- You are organised, with some experience in project management. The key characteristics needed for the role are:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and challenging stakeholders
- Confidence, flexibility and willingness to challenge when deadlines are not met or standards not achieved
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and good attention to detail
- Work well with others and experienced in working with a diverse range of people
