Job Title: IT Portfolio Manager

Salary: Circa £65,000 depending on skills and experience with executive car allowance and bonus on top

What you’ll be doing:

• You will be responsible for the implementation of a large and complex project portfolio and will be collaborating with our strategic IT partner to deliver it
• Monitor the quality of project outputs ensuring alignment with our governance standards
• You will be required to establish effective working relationships with all stakeholders and be an excellent communicator
• Providing line management, coaching and guidance to develop the effectiveness of the portfolio team
• Ensuring that all financial targets are met within the function and portfolio

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

• You will need to have proven experience of portfolio delivery including providing portfolio assurance and governance aspects
• Proven experience of translating business analysis and requirements into the wider business objectives as well as ensuring the resulting project proposal can provide a practical implementation
• You will hold proven capabilities to manage stakeholders at all levels
• Have the ability to co-ordinate colleagues, volunteers and contracted parties through expert leadership, motivation, teamwork, supervision and accountability
• You will ned to hold a relatable Project Management qualification such as – APM, APMQ, Prince 2 or similar

Desirable

• Having experience of building IT infrastructure implementations

The work undertaken is technologically complex in delivery and will provide several opportunities to develop your skillsets and experiences whilst working amongst some of the most complex opportunities and projects.
