IT Manager - Digital Toolkit Development

About the role

This newly created role of 'IT Manager - Wholesale Platform' will be responsible for supporting and delivering effective, secure and efficient systems across the Trading and Operations teams.

The role would suit an experienced and dynamic senior manager who can help lead the digital transformation of our existing supplier/product landscape and collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and internal IT teams to ensure successful project delivery within defined timelines and budgets.

This role can be based in either Eccles or Wellingborough.

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing the end-to-end life cycle of projects ranging in complexity and criticality
  • Supporting the digital transformation of our existing ERP (SAP) landscape, including system implementation, upgrades, and process optimisation
  • Driving change management efforts by championing the benefits of digital transformation, promoting user adoption, and addressing any resistance or challenges
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define business requirements, developing a forward-looking roadmap, and ensuring successful execution
  • Enabling the Stop/Simplify/Automate methodology to streamline business processes and drive operational efficiency
  • Fostering a culture of opportunity and growth, focusing on supporting and developing direct reports and promoting collaboration

You will need

  • Experience in delivering supplier-facing toolkits or similar external-facing digital platforms
  • Experience working on digital transformation projects
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP (preferred)/Oracle/Dynamics
  • A proven track record in managing complex digital transformation initiatives
  • To possess a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify system gaps, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong business process design skills and the ability to translate into technical solutions.
