What you'll bring to the team:

We are seeking an IT Manager to ensure Animal Trust delivers safe and affordable care through the effective use of its systems and technology. In this role, you will improve our team's productivity by optimising current platforms, improve access to care by developing our in-house client app and oversee day-to-day IT services.

Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with the Director of Quality and Digital, develop a IT strategy and roadmap. Keeping relevant stakeholders up to date on progress and milestones.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve IT services and solutions.
  • Act as the product manager for our client-facing application, collaborating with an outsourced software company to drive development. This application will be responsible for processing tens of thousands of client appointments petr month and is a key strategic priority for the company.
  • Act as the dedicated account manager for our outsourced IT vendor who manages our day-to-day IT services. Process approval requests and ensure the vendor is aligned with company goals and objectives. Conduct regular account management meetings and ensure SLA's are met.
  • Serve as the platform manager for various productivity tools, including Office 365, our Learning Management System (LMS), and HR system. Explore and establish new features within these products to enhance productivity. Provide training and support to staff to maximise the use of these tools.
  • Oversee an IT budget and resource allocation to ensure best use of financial and technical resources.

Qualifications and Experience

  • IT management experience in an SME company environment
  • Expert in establishing and maintaining productivity features in Office365 e.g. using SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI
  • Experienced in managing IT and software vendors
  • Interest in software product management
  • Project management skills, both agile and waterfall

Interviews will be held in the afternoon, on the 23rd and 25th of July. Interviews will be remote or in person, at our Ellesmere Port hospital
