Your primary responsibility will be to work alongside the Hardware Asset Manager to define and deliver the hardware asset management service. This includes overseeing the delivery of the strategic goals of hardware asset management and related governance processes that underpin hardware asset management. You will collaborate with your peers in the hardware asset team, and cross-functionally with teams who support the hardware asset management process.
We seek a highly organized individual with proven experience in the hardware asset management space. Strong interpersonal skills and a process-driven approach, including the ability to define and implement new working practices, are essential.

Results-oriented and insightful, the Service Definition and Governance Supervisor will join our IT Customer Experience and Support Team, reporting to the Hardware Asset Manager. This role is crucial for supporting the Hardware Asset Manager in delivering the long term strategic goals that define the service we offer
The role's success will be achieved by the below success metrics.
- Support in defining and executing the end-to-end strategic goals for the hardware asset management team.
- Establish and implement robust governance across the entire hardware asset lifecycle.
- Supporting the wider Hardware Asset Management team in the delivery of strategic goals.
- Drive continuous process improvement and automation.
- Deliver regular management reports (weekly/monthly).
Connect to your skills and professional experience
Essentials:
- Experience in managing data, ideally in an asset management capacity.
- Experience working within an IT function, ideally within an operational team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively present information articulately to both IT and other stakeholders
- Exposure to working with HR, finance and procurement to deliver services.
- Experience managing delivery to SLAs, and management of performance to targets, and meeting delivery and reporting deadlines
- Structured and with ability to work effectively in a changing landscape
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a small team of junior staff.
- Experience deputizing for senior colleagues during absences (e.g., holidays, sickness).
- Experience in the procurement and fulfillment of IT hardware (laptops, mobiles, desktops).
- Demonstrated experience in process development and improvement
Desirables:
- Exposure to ServiceNow or similar tooling
- ITIL v4 foundation (or higher) certification or similar
- Experience in designing in helping design strategic roadmaps and planning
- Experience in business analysis
- Knowledge and experience of sourcing via 3rd parties.
