Job title: IT DevOps Manager
Location: Rochester, Kent
Salary: Up to £80,000 dependent on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of developers, functional consultants, and technical staff
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of development projects
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to define requirements, priorities, timelines and status
- Establish and maintain coding standards, development best practices, and technical guidelines
- Ensure systems are suitable with our environment working with the Enterprise/Data and Solution architects ensuring compliant with cyber security standards
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial. Encourage a culture of innovation, learning, and collaboration
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:

Knowledge of key applications, Oracle ERP, Siemens Teamcenter Unified, MSBI, Manufacturing Execution Systems

Understanding of cyber security principles and compliance standards

Demonstrable experience in software development, including working in a leadership role

Strong knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile, and DevOps practices

Excellent leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills

The DevOps team:
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will lead a talented team of Oracle Functional Consultants, Oracle Developers and Microsoft Technology Developers. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day operations, managing resources, scheduling work and ensuring successful project delivery, all while maintaining strict security compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to join our leadership team as we move towards cloud technologies and drive innovation across the organisation.
