Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Worker Type: Hybrid Worker

Salary: £56,730- £60,125 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

Location: Loxley House, Nottingham, NG2 3NG

Job Purpose: We are seeking a passionate and experienced IRO Service Manager to lead our Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) functions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting the welfare of children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard and considered in statutory reviews and children's plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IRO functions in line with relevant legal frameworks, statutory guidance, and best practice principles.
  • Provide support and challenge to Children's Social Care to continuously improve performance and quality in practice.
  • Promote and facilitate the active involvement of children, young people, and families in statutory reviews and children's plans.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services, driving high service standards and achieving outcomes in line with performance indicators.
  • Provide analysis related to service area activity to inform wider planning and commissioning agendas.
  • Support strategic service development work as directed by the Head of Service.
