Role Purpose

We are seeking a high-calibre Senior Sales Manager of IoT Sales to spearhead the creation and development of our IoT-focused partnership ecosystem. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for forging strategic alliances that propel our reach into critical verticals like energy & utilities, healthcare, smart home, smart cities, manufacturing, and technology, all powered by the transformative power of IoT.

What you'll do
• Craft and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with aggressive sales goals within the IoT landscape.
• Identify, qualify, and cultivate high-value partnerships across diverse IoT-driven industries.
• Negotiate and finalize win-win partnership agreements that ensure mutual success.
• Foster strong relationships with partners, providing ongoing support and ensuring seamless collaboration.
• Ensure technical alignment and integration with partner to ensure customer experience excellence.
• Develop and execute joint go to market initiatives to amplify brand awareness for both your company and your partners within the IoT ecosystem.
• Establish a recurring trading cadence with partners and the regional sales teams to drive lead generations and growth opportunities.
• Interlock targets with the IoT regional sales teams and support sales outcomes providing in depth expertise in the verticals.
• Lead the sales team focused on vertical markets, providing coaching, mentorship, and driving quota attainment.
• Analyse market trends and partner performance to identify new opportunities and optimize the partnership ecosystem.

Who you are
• Proven track record of success in building and managing strategic partnerships that deliver significant revenue growth.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and sales leadership preferably in the technology, B2B sector within the IoT Space.
• Deep understanding of partnership models, including channel sales, co-selling, and joint ventures with a focus on IoT solutions.
• Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new verticals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
• Passion for emerging technologies and their potential to transform key industries.
• Experience in the energy & utilities, healthcare, smart home, smart cities, manufacturing, or technology industries.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams, particularly those focused on emerging technologies.
• A deep understanding of the current IoT partnership landscape and best practices for success.

• Yearly bonus: 20%
• Company car: company funded car of £580 per month or cash alternative of £630
per month.
• Annual leave: 28 days + bank holidays + the opportunity to buy/sell/carry over 5 days/year
• Charity days: 5 days/year
• Maternity leave: 52 weeks, the first 13 weeks are fully paid, followed by 26 weeks of half pay
• Private pension: You can contribute up to 5% of your basic pay with 2:1 matching from Vodafone up to 10%.
