About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Finance Team. As an Investor Relations Analyst you will support the Head of Investor Relations and Chief Financial Officer in all aspects of Investor Relations. This includes producing analysis of performance and presentations for external and internal stakeholders such as work on the annual report and progress against our strategic plans.

What you'll be doing

  • Work closely with the Head of IR, CFO and CEO on the production of investor presentations and data packs.
  • Produce and coordinate other financial and strategic communications such as Interim Results, Quarterly Trading Updates, Capital Markets Day and ad hoc RNS announcements.
  • Monitoring and reporting of analysts' consensus forecast numbers and comparing to our internal forecasts.
  • Monitoring and reporting of competitor announcements and developments in the industry and reporting the insights to senior management.
  • Coordination and logistics of IR events including roadshows, conferences in the UK and abroad.
  • User of the Investor Relations CRM system "ingage" ensuring accurate records of meetings are maintained, itineraries built and briefing packs provided.
  • Deputise for the Head of IR in accompanying the CEO or CFO in investor meetings or conferences.
  • Support the production of the Annual Report and Financial Statements from initial design concepts through to the final printed and digital versions.
  • Deputise for the Head of IR on the Corporate Affairs Group ensuring the sentiments and issues of our shareholders and wider investment community are shared.
  • Lead on the development of the IR website in line with best practice and the updating of content.

About you

  • Experience of working in a commercial organisation and liaising with all levels of stakeholder.
  • Additional experience of working in a regulated and listed environment will be supportive to your success in this role.
  • An effective and engaging communicator, able to present complex information in simple context, adapting your style to suit your audience.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and delivering to deadlines.
  • Ability to work, and be resilient, in a fast paced and changeable environment.
  • An Accountancy qualification would be desirable but not essential.


Interview process

This will be a two-stage interview process, consisting of competency and behavioural based questions and a task.

Working Schedule

The role is based in our Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern.
