The role

Act as the Asset and Investment Manager for a number of assets and portfolios within then relevant fund(s). Primary lead on sourcing and acquisitions. Work in conjunction with the Fund Manager(s) in delivering performance of the nominated fund(s).

Responsibilities

• Client contact with responsibility for implementation of investment strategy.

• Source and advise on investment opportunities, transaction management and asset and investment management.

• Managing letting activity, including liaison and coordination with outside agents as well as BNPPRE letting agents.

• Where required, undertaking appraisals for potential development opportunities and monitoring ongoing developments to practical completion and letting.

• Assist in developing new investment management mandates in conjunction with BNP Paribas WM and CIB.

• Development investment pipeline.

• Undertaking appraisals for potential development opportunities and monitoring ongoing developments to practical completion and letting.

• Liaising with the property managers, whether external or BNPPRE, to monitor efficient day-to-day management of the properties held.

• Co-ordinate and instruct internally and externally in respect of rent reviews, planning consultants and building consultants to maximise performance from existing assets.

• Assist in selling our Fund Management capability to clients and investors.

• Develop relationships and grow business from existing and new clients.

• Contribute to Fund management pitches, respond to RFPs, lead on pitch writing and assist in pitch.

• Monitor the pipeline of current and prospective assignments and action.

• Develop a strong network of relationships and proactively promote our services across the Group.

• Production of timely reports and submissions for new client mandates/pitches;

• Ensure timely completion of all documentation in respect of BNPP REIM appointments and instructions;

• Work to further develop investment contacts beyond BNPP RE team to ensure maximum coverage and knowledge base of the investment market;

• Assist in ensuring compliance with all KYC and regulatory matters for FSA compliant business in conjunction with internal compliance and IMS.

• Contribute towards the raising of capital for the nominated fund(s).

Person specification

Qualifications/Key Skills

• Educated to degree level

• MRICS

• FSA authorised an advantage

• Demonstrable experience within the commercial property market

• Can demonstrate successful long term business relationships

• Demonstrable cross selling successes

• Strong client orientation focus.

• Confident self-starter, comfortable in taking the initiative and seeing tasks through to their conclusion
