Join Legal & General Retirements Institutional as we help secure the financial futures of millions of people. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping investment strategies across sovereign assets and derivatives, contributing to long-term outcomes that matter. What you'll be doing:
- Designing and executing investment and structuring solutions across sovereign assets and derivatives including rates, FX and inflation
- Partnering with internal teams to support strategic asset allocation and new business initiatives
- Monitoring macroeconomic trends and market developments to help inform positioning and portfolio strategy
- Generating trade ideas to optimise hedging, relative value and yield outcomes across cash and derivative markets
- Building and enhancing analytical tools and models for valuation, scenario analysis and risk assessment
- Providing expert structuring insight to shape commercial decision-making and investment strategy
- Supporting governance and risk management processes across the Funding & Derivative Management team
- Embedding Conduct Risk and Consumer Duty principles in day-to-day activity to ensure good customer outcomes
Who we're looking for:
- Strong expertise in fixed income mathematics, derivatives valuation and structured product modelling
- Experience in derivatives structuring, investment management or a technical markets role within banking or the buy-side
- Ability to design, price and deliver structured investment or hedging solutions across swaps, options and sovereign markets
- Strong quantitative skills, including experience building or improving valuation and analytical frameworks
- Confidence interpreting macroeconomic trends and translating insights into actionable investment ideas
- Experience collaborating with trading, risk, legal and finance teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
- A degree in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, physics or a related field
