Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active and organised candidate to join our team working within Corporate Broking, with primary responsibility being Investor Relations Origination for our Corporate Broking clients.

As an Investor Relations Associate you will perform as a trusted advisor to corporate clients, providing IR support, identifying new pools of capital and advising on investor engagement across UK, Europe, APAC and ME. Working in partnership with the Execution side of the team, you will deliver fulsome, seamless NDRs and other investor engagement events (dinners, fireside chats, site visits and so on). Job responsibilities

  • Own and drive the IR relationship with your corporate broking clients and target clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing client-facing IR support and advice
  • Utilise in-depth targeting and your own knowledge of the client's share register and the wider investor base to provide recommendations to clients on their IR calendar and investor engagement across UK, Europe, APAC and ME
  • Work with Market Intelligence Group, Sales and related parties to develop target lists for non-deal results roadshow
  • Work with Banking, co-brokers and IR Execution team to deliver fulsome and seamless non-deal roadshows post-results
  • Originate and deliver ad-hoc investor engagement events as appropriate (e.g. investor dinners, fireside chats, ad-hoc roadshows)
  • Speak to investors post-roadshow to gather feedback and provide full feedback reports to client
  • Work with the Market Intelligence Group to deliver and discuss the client's share register, in particular noting changes that can be correlated with investor engagement events over time
  • Contribute to Banking pitches and presentations, owning and driving the IR pages of a PPT presentation
  • Bring a commercial awareness, driving development and innovation around products and services we offer
  • Work with IR team colleagues and wider teams within JPM to deliver the IR Intelligence "expert speaker" series of events
  • Participate in steering committees of sector and generalist JPM conferences and events, contributing to panel ideas and assisting with the client invitation list

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Previous experience in Investor Relations or corporate access
  • Enthusiastic approach, striving to deliver the best outcome for the client
  • Solid front office administrative experience as well as knowledge of the capital markets and key investors
  • Detail orientated and self motivated
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, which can engage and influence partners and stakeholders
