Position: Stock & Admin Manager
Location: Northampton, Swan Valley (NN4 9BD)
Work Pattern: Monday-Friday. Day time hours
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Stock & Admin Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including stock management, data analysis and stakeholder management.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- Lead the site strategy and working practices for managing perpetual inventory to ensure integrity, an understanding of stock loss contractual liability and that risk is effectively mitigated
- To support site Stock and Admin teams to deal with the effective deployment of stock and resolution of issues.
- To lead and manage Site Stock & Admin activities in relation to planning, training, continuous improvement and quality
- Lead and support in driving a continuous improvement culture within the operation
- Accountable for producing and implementing contingency plans
- Effectively deploy resources and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to meet customer requirements in line with ETQ processes
- Work in collaboration with other DHL sites to maximise efficiencies and best practice
- Build trusted relationships with internal customers / colleagues
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Previous experience in a Stock Management or similar role (essential)
- Experience within a busy, fast-paced warehousing or transport environment (desirable)
- Experience managing and leading a team of 20-30 Stock & Admin Clerks
- Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills at all levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and numerical capability
- Project management and problem-solving experience (desirable)
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft applications; experience with JDA systems is desirable
- Willingness to work in a multi-temperature environment (Ambient, Chill, Freezer)
- Proven experience managing 2,200-3,500 SKUs
