Carbon60 are currently looking for an International Senior Payroll Specialist to join one of our blue-chip clients based in London, who are in the renewable energy sector.
Role: International Senior Payroll Specialist
Type: Permanent and hybrid working
Hours: Monday to Friday. 9am till 5pm
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum
Sector: Renewable Energy
Overview:
You'd play a vital role in the client's effort for the seamless integration of global payroll operations and strategic workforce management. Act as the key liaison between their global payroll operations and HR/Business stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with their strategic goals. Lead their payroll projects with your expertise and strategic insight, while streamlining payroll operations for enhanced employee experiences.
Your role will encompass:
- Oversee and process payroll for employees across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and legal standards.
- Coordinate with global payroll providers and internal teams, ensuring that payroll deadlines are consistently met.
- Lead key payroll-related projects from initiation to completion, coordinating across departments to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
- Drive efficiency and accuracy by identifying and implementing best practices in payroll processes. Work closely with HR, finance, and external vendors to streamline payroll operations globally.
- Delivering detailed payroll reports and analysis to senior management, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks. Proactively identify potential payroll issues and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
- Resolve escalated payroll issues by conducting root cause analysis and delivering corrective actions.
What you bring to the role:
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years specifically focused on international payroll processing.
- Deep understanding of global payroll regulations and tax laws.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, HR Management
- MSc in or MBA will be considered as an asset.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Proven project management skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
